Its new online school of Digestion gives students powerful tools for transforming digestive health - an issue affecting a reported 70,000,000 people every day. Until now, there has been no professional wellness program centered around digestive health. This one year 500-hour certification course is ideal for ayurveda practitioners, yoga teachers, nutritionists, nurses and other clinical practitioners who want a competitive edge with approaches to over 30 major digestive tract pathologies and to improving quality of life from a holistic perspective. For over 5,000 years Ayurveda (the world's oldest holistic system of medicine) has known that digestion is the cornerstone to good health and the best way to prevent disease. From stubborn IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) to restoring appetite after chemotherapy, digestive wellness is essential as it addresses root causes that are creating imbalances in your body. The program, called "Mastering Ayurvedic Digestion and Nutrition", is held entirely online, allowing students to learn from virtually anywhere in the world. Susan Buck, a graduate of the inaugural Mastering Ayurvedic Digestion and Nutrition program, describes her experience: "I loved the course, especially the sensory awareness of food & digestion, practical experiences offered, and herbal remedies. I was amazed by my experiences. John has a fabulous way of getting folks like me to think differently and I am deeply grateful for what I have learned." Applications are being accepted now.
