As last night's food is digested and makes its way through your blood stream, it leads to sluggish circulation. You might wake up feeling tired and groggy the morning after a heavy meal. Rich blood and sluggish circulation from late night meals can cause a build up of mucus and fluid in the lungs. Also, metabolism becomes slower while sleeping during the night. Excellent information. The more I learn of Ayurveda the more I realize how best to live. John is very insightful and helpful.
