Use Psyllium husk similarly to chia seeds. First you soak it in water overnight, extracting the demulcent soluble fiber. The water will turn thick and gooey. Then drink.

Psyllium husk is contraindicated for for clients with narrowing (stricture) in the GI tract, and for kidney disease.
